Dr. Michael Abu Sakara Foster, popularly known as Dr. Abu Sakara, is an agronomist (Agricultural Scientist).

The presidential candidate of the Convention
People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Abu Sakara Foster, has
outlined his broad vision for the Ghanaian economy
by saying he will make Ghana a shining example of
what West Africa can achieve when governed by his
party.
Speaking at the Institute of Economic Affairs’
(IEA) presidential debate, Dr. Sakara promised if
voted into power, the CPP would ensure that the
constitution “works again so that Ghana will
work again.”
He encouraged Ghanaians to settle for best and not
better as his party will exploit natural
resources, provide free and quality education,
invest in agriculture “so that local
entrepreneurs are given the chance as well as
investing in the private sector to generate jobs
for the people of Ghana.”
The CPP flagbearer also noted that continuity will
