    Elli AvrRam was born Elisabet Avramidou Granlund and grew up in Tyresö Kommun, Stockholm. AvrRam's mother and aunt run a theatre in Skåne County, Sweden, where she received training in acting. She studied at the Frans Schartau High School, Stockholm, and got a degree in social economics.

    Since childhood, AvrRam had always wanted to become an actress in the Indian film industry. When she was 17 years old, she used to perform Hindi movie dance songs while she was a part of the Pardesi Dance Group in Stockholm.

    She debuted with the Swedish movie Förbjuden Frukt (), playing Selen, the main character's girlfriend. She also appeared on a Swedish show Gomorron Sverige () and was a contestant for Miss Greece

    In September , AvrRam moved to Mumbai and collaborated with a modelling agency to get her work visa. She landed her first big advertisement with Akshay Kumar in an ad for Eveready Industries India.

    AvrRam finally got her Bollywood break featuring in a lead role in the film Mickey Virus (), which was directed by Saurabh Varma. That year, she also participated as a contestant in Bigg Boss () and was evicted on the 70th day.

    Elisabet Avramidou Granlund (Greek: Ελισάβετ Αβραμίδου Γκράνλουντ; born [1]), known professionally as Elli AvrRam, is a Swedish-Greek actress[2] and is now based in Mumbai, India.[3] She is known for her Hindi film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.[4] AvrRam came to prominence after participating in the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss in [5][6] Elli along with Aamir Khan had a special appearance in the Koi Jaane Na film song "Har Funn Maula".[citation needed]

    Elli was born in Stockholm, Sweden. She grew up in Tyresö kommun,[7] Stockholm. Her Greek father, Jannis Avramidis, is a musician who is now settled in Sweden; and her Swede mother, Maria Granlund, is an actress who had a part in Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander.[2] AvrRam took an interest in figure skating, singing and dancing from her initial years.
